It’s that time of year again for our yearly family picture…my how fast our kiddos have grown!!

 

I’m doing good…Codys 1st birthday was just Sunday and I am already posting pics…..shocker!!

 

There are only a few but I hope everyone enjoys!! 

 

 

My aunt that has done all of Caitlyn’s cakes wasn’t able to make Cody’s this year so i got brave and tried it myself.  I don't think they turned out too bad!

 

We decided to have the party at our house this year and we had a house full….nothing big, but I’m glad that everyone showed up.

Cody wasn't too interested in presents.  He opened one or two and then once he made it to the floor…off he went

.

 

Since Cody has learned to pull himself up…he loves to climb onto anything.  Recently his favorite seems to be chairs so the rocking chair he got for his birthday had to be tested out!!

 

It took him a while to get into his cake but once he did he seemed to enjoy it.

Our bathtub was literally black once we washed all the cake off of him…he even had it in his ears!!

 

I cant believe how fast the year has gone by…my baby boy is growing up so fast!

Well Danny’s blog motivated me to catch up our family blog as well…..a lot has been going on since my last post in May….wow has it really been that long!!!

 

Well I can’t believe it but my baby girl is five years old already and has started  kindergarten…

 

 

She was very excited for her first day…until we actually got to her classroom door…then she wanted to go back home with mom and dad…

 

becasue she was crying i didn’t get to stay and take pictures like i wanted but later on in the week we got a few…

Caitlyn is learning so much so fast…i don't know where the time has gone but it has gone fast!!

 

 

 

 

Cody is changing and growing more everyday…he is really starting to develop his own little personality…..he will be walking before too long and i know things are about to get really…….FUN ;)

 

He had just started to learn how to pull up on things here so he decided he would help unload the dishes!!

 

 

He has definitely learned to explore things around the house….there are not too many things that he passes by that he doesn't stop and check out at least once!!

 

 

 

 

He found something on the floor….then realized someone was behind him!!

Tupperware cabinet….found!  This definitely keeps him busy while I'm         working in the kitchen!!

 

 

In October we got to go with Caitlyn on her first field trip…they went to a farm in Hernando…

 

This was Caitlyn's first time riding on a school bus…she was so excited…she was grinning ear to ear!!

 

There were pony rides, hay rides, pig races, and all the kids got to pick their own pumpkin to take home…

 

 

Right now Joey is working nights so both of us were able to go…it was a very beautiful day and we all had a GREAT time!!!

 

 

 

Cody recently got his first black eye…not even 1 yet…he got hit with a toy (by accident) at daycare…but it by no means slowed him down….,,

   

He is getting more mobile now and is in to everything….very quickly….he is so hard to keep still….as you can see!

 

Caitlyn has started her 2nd year of cheerleading….she has really missed it….

And Cody really does enjoy going to watch his big sister….at least when he's awake :)

  

 

Since this was Cody’s first Halloween…Caitlyn was excited to show him how everything goes…we did a pumpkin for each of the kids

 

Cody had no problems sticking his hands inside that yucky pumpkin…however; just like everything else that he can get in his hands…straight to the mouth it goes!!

We just celebrated Halloween with family and friends at our house…the past couple of years we have meet up, had dinner and then Aubrey pulls everyone around on a trailer while the kids trick or treat….everyone always has such a good time and the kids really seem to enjoy it….this year we definitely had a trailer full!!

 

This year Caitlyn was “Hannah Montana” and we dressed Cody up as a Monkey….he's always climbing on something…or at least trying to!!

 

      

 

Well i think that brings us current for now.  I am literally as we speak getting ready for Cody’s first birthday party….although he wont actually be 1 until November 16th, we have a busy couple of weeks ahead of us and it’s really now or never!!

 

Cody has been in and out of the doctors office numerous times since August or so and the Dr’s have finally decided to put tubes in his ears on 11/12.  With the holidays coming up hopefully i can get another posting done before next year but I'm not going to make any promises!!
