The Riley Bunch

 

Just a couple of weeks before Cody’s 1st birthday the doctor’s finally decided to put tubes in his ears.  After many, many infections in a few short months i was all for it.  Caitlyn had tubes at about the same age and it made a world of difference for her!

 

The day of surgery….Cody was having nothing but fun!  He played and played until it was time to go back to surgery!

 

Although the surgery only took probably 30 minutes i was definately glad for it all to be over with.

 

Everything this time of year always seems to be sooooo busy, so as usual Christmas was here and gone in a blink……

 

Cody wanted nothing to do with Santa this year….maybe next year!!

On Christmas Eve both of the kids game down with a stomach bug that had been going around…..so the night was spent pretty much on the couch…but cody still seemed to have fun!

Christmas morning everyone was feeling much better…Caitlyn was excited to wake up and see Santa had eaten the cookies she left for him on the plate she had made at school…

Cody must have woke up hungry because he was all about the snacks Santa left for him….

 

Caitlyn was excited for all the goodies Santa had left her and was enjoying snuggling with her baby brother…..

 

Paw Paw and Granny came over Christmas morning to watch the kids opening gifts….and paw paw decided to help out Cody……

Everyone had a great time and as usual the kids got way too much…but enjoyed every minute of it…..
